 ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT FOR ACCELERATED GROWTH

There are volumes of generalized advice out there for ministers — and you’ve likely heard it all. But God has entrusted you with a personality and ministry context that’s unique. You might be surprised how quickly the insights of one-on-one coaching can unlock and unblock more of your preacherly gifts.

I offer packages designed to address specific needs, as well as à la carte options.

À LA CARTE COACHING

Looking for ongoing accountability, or in need of intermittent advice? I also support preachers in a free-form capacity.

Half-hour sessions are ideal for receiving feedback and guidance on a sermon in progress.

They are perfect if you’d like to:

  • Receive feedback on ways to tighten your sermon’s focus/function/form

  • Workshop a particular move in your sermon

  • Receive guidance on connecting a biblical text with popular culture

  • Get help with tightening and polishing a sermon draft

$150 / SESSION

One-hour sessions can cover more themes and questions, and are intended to serve your overall development as a preacher.

A 60-minute coaching session is ideal if you’d like to:

  • Receive help interpreting a biblical text

  • Workshop the entire structure and movements of a sermon

  • Get detailed feedback on a sermon you’ve previously preached (either in manuscript or video format)

  • Discuss ways to enhance your creativity

  • Work through ways to engage your particular congregational or parish context through your preaching

$200 / SESSION

Sessions are preceded by an email exchange or phone conversation that allows us to set the context and agenda for our time together.

*Note: For every session I’m working with a client, I’ve spent that long (or longer) preparing for our our session. So, a 30-minute coaching session equals an hour or more of my time; a 60-minute coaching session requires an hour of prep on my part.
